Dale Shugars will bring experienced, dedicated leadership to the role of Kalamazoo County Treasurer and promises to:
- Foster transparency and citizen involvement
- Ensure timely accounting of all county funds
- Solicit feedback from local township, city, and village treasurers, as well as other stakeholders
- Create multiple channels for taxpayers to provide input, including suggestion boxes and dedicated email addresses
- Develop strategies to enhance public communication and understanding of county government operations
